Hello ...

This is Shawna, my wife. Shawna was a wonderful woman with a heart of gold. She loved animals and her family.

Shawna had a long history of health issues. That did not stop her from being a caring & loving mother to 1 son & 2 daughters. Shawna Passed away on 8/25/25 3 months before her 56th birthday & 3 weeks before my 55th.

She had suffered a massive stroke. She was suffering greatly during the recovery process. Her doctor even said that he expected her to make a full recovery. What they didn't know was a week before she passed, she had developed a nasty U.T.I. The antibiotics & the infection had weakened her kidneys & she passed away from acute organ failure due to sepsis.

The stroke was caused by a blood thinner she was on to treat a clot for a broken leg 3 weeks prior to her stroke. The combination of the blood thinner, small blood vessel disease & high blood pressure caused the stroke. We are all devastated by her loss. She was loved very much & will be very much missed. I am doing this to help us pay for her cremation & final expenses. We are having a small private, family only ceremony to honor Shawna.
