Hi, my name is Jerry Voss and I’m reaching out again to raise money for a very good friend who is battling breast cancer for the second time. Her name is Shawna Chandler and she is one of the kindest and most helpful people I know. She is constantly helping family and friends in any way she can. Shawna was diagnosed with breast cancer around three years ago. She has endured a mastectomy, radiation, and chemotherapy all the while working a hard job that at least had insurance.

She kept up on routine screenings including mammograms, blood draws, and even the PET/CT scan showing everything was clear and no signs. However, as of recently she went back for another routine mammogram and was told to go back the next day for a biopsy. The results were positive meaning the cancer is back. This time there will be two surgeries to endure and lots of recovery time.

During this time she will be unable to work for an undetermined amount of time. Shawna does not have insurance and is not qualified for PTO since she hasn’t been at her current job long enough to receive these benefits.

No matter the amount anything helps and will be very much appreciated.

I do hope people will read this and help this beautiful woman with yet another bout of cancer.
