We’re coming together for someone who has always lifted others up through his voice, his heart, and his spirit—Shawn Thoma. A vocal rockstar known for fronting many beloved local bands, Shawn is not only an incredible performer but also an incredible human being. If you know him, you love him. And if you’ve heard him sing, you’ve felt something unforgettable.

Now, Shawn needs our help.

He’s currently battling Stage 4 lung cancer and is on oxygen 24 hours a day. Getting to his critical appointments at Ohio State University (OSU) is extremely difficult without a portable oxygen concentrator. Even more heartbreaking—it’s nearly impossible for Shawn to do what he loves most: singing and performing live.

What Shawn Needs

Shawn urgently needs:

• A portable oxygen machine that allows him to travel safely to treatment and the very few gigs lined up

• Supplies and accessories that support full-time oxygen use

• Help with medical travel costs and related expenses

His insurance does not cover the cost of this vital equipment, but with your support, we can make this happen.
