In the heart of Big Sky, where the mountains meet the sky and the air carries the spirit of adventure, our friend and colleague, Shawn Knoll, faces the toughest challenge of his life—a battle not on the peaks he helps to sculpt into luxurious retreats, but within his own body.
Shawn has dedicated the 2 years to Langlas & Associates, pouring his skill and spirit into projects that define our skyline, the latest being the "One & Only" project in Big Sky. It was here, amidst his contributions to our shared dreams, that Shawn's own world turned upside down.
Struck by a sudden, life-threatening health crisis unrelated to his work, Shawn suffered a collapsed lung—a stark reminder of how swiftly fate can alter the course of our lives. The immediacy of his condition necessitated a rapid response: first responders rushed him from the project site to the local fire department, then via ambulance to Big Sky hospital. The severity of his condition required a life flight to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital, where, in a harrowing turn of events, Shawn coded twice. Through the skill and dedication of his medical team, he was revived both times, a testament to the fight within him.
This ordeal has thrust Shawn and his family into a storm of emotional and financial turmoil. The road to recovery is long, and while Shawn battles for his health, the financial ramifications of this unexpected crisis loom large.
We turn to you, our community—friends, colleagues, and kind-hearted strangers—to offer whatever support you can. Your generosity can ease the burden on Shawn and his family during this critical time, allowing them to focus on what matters most: Shawn's recovery and the long journey back to health and normalcy.
Every contribution, no matter the size, is a beacon of hope and solidarity. Together, we can help Shawn and his family navigate this storm. Let's rally around one of our own and show that in times of need, we rise as a community to support each other.
Thank you for your generosity, support, and prayers. They are appreciated beyond words.
