Support Shawn Hill's Long Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Hi everyone, for those of you who know me, you know that recently has been a very difficult time. My father, Shawn Hill has been struggling medically with his COPD for the better part of a year now. Due to this, he was forced to take a leave of absence from work. While on this leave of absence, my father suffered a perforated bowel that resulted in him being rushed to the hospital under critical conditions. Due to the invasive surgeries, my father has been intubated for 20+ days and is unable to work. After being pulled off of intubation, the hospital performed a tracheostomy in order for my father to be able to breathe with the assistance of oxygen. He is still unable to eat or drink anything and has very minimal ability to move. My father has a long road to recovery, which includes rehabilitation in order to walk, getting his tracheostomy tube removed, and having his stomach incision closed as it is currently still open. My father will be in the hospital for recovery and to assess his condition further for a long time. Any money donated will go towards supporting my dad and paying his bills while he is in the hospital.
. If anyone is willing to help us bear the burden of the unfortunate circumstances, please donate, and if not, please share! Anything helps and nothing is too little!
