Help Me Rebuild My Studio After the Fire
Hi, my name is Shavacc and I’m a music producer, engineer, and artist, I lost everything in a sudden studio fire. This studio was more than just a place to record; it was years of dreams, hustle, therapy and creativity poured into one space.
On February 23, Sunday morning, my entire setup the tools I used daily to express myself and make a living was destroyed. What hurts the most isn’t just the loss of expensive equipment. It’s the feeling of watching everything I built go up in flames, knowing that I’ll have to start over from scratch.
Unfortunately, insurance isn’t looking promising, and I can’t afford to wait months while stuck in limbo. That’s why I’m turning to my community, friends, and supporters for help.
What I Lost and What I Need to Rebuild
Here’s a transparent breakdown of what was lost in the fire and what I’m aiming to recover:
Computer/Display – $3,500
Interfaces/mixers – $2,800
Neumann Microphone – $1,300
KRK V8 Studio Monitors/ sub (Pair) – $1,000
MIDI Keyboard – $700
Bass/ Guitars (Fender & Ibanez models) – $1,200
Drum Kit/Drum Mics – $2,500
External SSDs, Cables, Mic Stands, Accessories – $1,000
Studio Furniture (Desk, Chair, Mounts, Panels) – $1,200
Emergency Fund for downtime + rebuilding workspace and others – $2,800
Total Needed: $18,000–$20,000+
*total may vary because I also need help with anyone that knows about Data recovery and cost for a 4TB External Hard drive that was damaged 99% of unreleased music where on there*
Why This Matters
Music is how I heal. It’s how I connect with others and bring something positive into the world. I’ve worked with artists, mentored others coming up in the game, and poured everything into this craft. This fire knocked me down, but I’m not quitting.
If you’ve ever been moved by something I’ve created, worked with me, or just believe in second chances, I’m asking you to be part of this rebuild. Every dollar helps, and if you can’t donate, a share goes a long way.
Thank you for reading, thank you for supporting, and thank you for believing in my comeback.
Shavacc
