Hello everyone, I hope Yall are doing well, here is an update on Shaun, he is finally home. We have had some bumps in the road since his low transplant with his white blood cell count kept dropping and then the tube feedings the formulas were too hard on his stomach, causing a lot of stomach pain, a lot of dehydration, a lot of Like feeling stabbing pains in his stomach. so, he has been in and out of the hospital since he was first released, and so far, it seems everything now is getting straightened out. he is still feeling the dehydration? But did finally get to start on the new formula for his tube feeds it is the same one he was getting when he was in the hospital, and so far since he started on it last night today he feels ok, but is still feeling the dehydration, and then there was some medication changes and some of them were not covered and then also with gas, because he has appointments every week to to 3 and sometimes 4 appointments a week, depending on what the lung transplant doctors are wanting him to do or needs to see to help him so that his long as do not reject. Also , have to use a lot of bottled water has to be purified or distilled water? And that is, for the flushing for his medications through his feeding tube and for the flushes for his feeding tubes and also for cleaning his medical supplies, cannot use any tap water at all. So everything is so very expensive and we are needing help with this. And we really do appreciate everyone , this does help to ensure that Shaun succeeds and is able to live a very long time. Shaun it's so appreciative of everyone, and is overwhelmed that people are helping him to succeed and not have any lung rejection and be able to continue living his life and to do things that he has not been able to do for two and a half years. We thank you all again for your help and for your prayers. It honestly means a lot to us..
