Hi everyone!

I’m reaching out on behalf of a very dear friend of mine, Shauna Alexander. Any person that knows her , knows she is one of the first to always help others. She is a strong, loving, and hardworking single mother of three. Two of her children are still living at home and fully dependent on her care and support.

After enduring six long months of misdiagnoses, Shauna finally received the correct diagnosis — but sadly, the delay meant her condition had worsened. Because of this, the surgery she needed became far more extensive and invasive than it would have been if caught sooner.

Shauna is now facing several weeks off work, and potentially longer depending on how her recovery progresses. She will require ongoing treatment every two weeks to manage her condition going forward — adding medical costs, transportation, and time off to an already heavy burden. I am hopeful this fundraiser will help relieve stress and hardships for her and her family during her down time.

Despite everything, Shauna has never stopped giving. She works two jobs to provide for her family and still manages to be there for everyone around her. Whether it’s emotional support, physical help, or simply showing up when no one else does — she gives from the heart and never asks for anything in return.

Now, I'm asking for her.
