Support Shauna's Health Recovery

Hi, everyone! My name is Danielle and I'm starting this for my best friend, Shauna. Shauna has battled chronic illness for years, she has persevered through it all though and has been obedient to God's call to missions in spite of the extra challenges she faces due to health. Shauna returned from a short term missions trip in October. She caught an illness that the doctors here in the U.S. where unable to diagnose. She was in and out of the hospital for weeks and had near death experiences several times. Although it seems the active infection has passed, the illness wreaked havoc on her body. She has been bed ridden for months due to an array of debilitating symptoms. She has been unable to work which makes paying for treatment very difficult. She is starting some treatments that seem hopeful and is seeking answers with neurology to try to find a way through this. Shauna has so much life ahead of her and is eager to recover, as she wants to continue to serve the Lord by serving others. Treatment costs add up quickly so I'm asking for others to come alongside Shauna and support her on this healing journey. Thank you!
