I am Leslie Kanakembizi and I am raising funds for Ronald Hondongwa, a disabled teacher in Zimbabwe. Mr. Hondongwa is an activist who was arrested for the protection and support of rural teachers' remunerations. Unfortunately, at a meeting planning for the call for support with the main opposition party in Zimbabwe, he was heavily beaten and imprisoned for over six months. He is disabled, and protests quickly went out around the world, especially in the UK, as shown on the cover photo.

After months of detention, where in remand prison he did have challenges feeding and cleaning himself, he lost his job at Zengeza 4 High, a government school. He is facing salary cessation for over 14 months. He can't pay his rent, salary-based loans are overdue, and he is threatened with legal action from the bank, cessation of life insurance policies, can't afford school fees for his children, and the legal case versus the state is still going on, so legal fees are needed. Medical bills are mounting, he is in need of urgent psychological and counseling support, and he needs a replacement of his right prosthetic limb broken during his brutal incarceration.

He is appealing to all well-wishers to help through donations or any other form of support to give him his own shelter, an assistive vehicle, establish a school to assist the less privileged from his community, and to give him a new lease of life.
