Support Shatha's Journey to Education and Hope

Hi my name is Aisha and I live in Chicago, Illinois. I am writing this on behalf of my friend Shatha in Gaza, Palestine.
Shatha is 19 years old and just like many others has been trapped in the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Her family of nine had a beautiful home in Al- Zahraa City- they no longer have a home because it was destroyed. Her family has been displaced many times; they are currently living in a makeshift tent in Mawasi, Khan Younis. They are struggling day by day to survive and find basic human necessities.
As the new school year starts around the world for many people, the students in Gaza are missing out on their second school year in a row. Shatha is a bright student who loves studying and has a passion for pursuing her studies. In the light of the conflict, unfortunately, Shatha's studies have been halted and she has missed out in over a years worth of education. She dreams of pursuing a career in software engineering.
Recently, Shatha has found out that she has received a full scholarship from Bekasi, Indonesia to continue her studies. Unfortunately, Shatha is stuck in Gaza and has to wait for the borders to open in order to leave and travel to Egypt, then from there to Indonesia. Due to the ongoing conflict, Shatha does not have enough money to pay to pass the border into Egypt as that is the only way she would be able to leave. In addition, she will need travel expenses to cover her travel from Egypt to Indonesia.
With your help, we can help Shatha get the education she deserves and save her from missing any further educational opportunities. Even as little as $5 goes a long way. Please consider helping our sister and praying for her and her family's safety. Thank you.
I will be in charge of the collecting the donations and sending them to Shatha. In case of any issues, I will take responsibility to make sure donors receive their money back if unable to transfer to our friend Shatha.
