At 31 years old, I never imagined life would shift so suddenly. Being diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer completely changed my world. As a mother, provider, and someone who has always taken pride in handling things on my own, this journey has humbled me in ways I never expected.
Over the past months, I’ve pushed through chemotherapy while still trying to show up for my daughter, work when I can, and hold onto some sense of normalcy. I’m incredibly grateful to say I am almost finished with chemo — only two rounds left — but the journey does not end here.
The next phase will include multiple surgeries, recovery periods, more medical appointments, and additional time away from work to properly heal. While I’m thankful to be moving forward, the physical, emotional, and financial weight of this journey continues behind the scenes.
Asking for help has never come naturally to me. Anyone who knows me knows I’m used to figuring things out on my own and being the one others lean on. But this experience has taught me the importance of community, support, and allowing people to show love during difficult seasons.
Every donation, prayer, share, and encouraging message has truly carried me more than words can explain. The support from this fundraiser will continue helping with medical expenses, living costs, recovery needs, transportation to appointments, and making sure my daughter is cared for while I focus on healing and getting through the next steps of treatment.
More than anything, I hope to continue being open about this journey so others facing difficult battles feel less alone. Even in moments that feel heavy, I still believe in faith, healing, resilience, and purpose.
Thank you for standing beside me during one of the hardest seasons of my life. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more to me and my family than I could ever fully express.
