Our friend Megan has received heartbreaking news about her service dog, Shasta. He was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and needs life saving surgery and chemo therapy. 

Shasta helps her by alerting low blood pressure, which has allowed her a better quality of life. Megan found Shasta through the Diamonds in the Ruff service dog program and have been together seven years. He has not left her side, accompanying her on planes, Disneyland, and hospital visits.
