Support Shashank's Family

Hello, my name is Gaby, and I am creating this GoFundme to support one wonderful family in need of ongoing support. Shashank has been diagnosed with ALS, and the prognosis is not good. His wife Jane is facing an uncertain future with two young children (Ada, 4years old, and Dev, 1-year-old)

 

Ada is a sweet, adventurous and kind little girl (I got the privilege of being her teacher at Nature's Lab School for over two years - in fact, she was one of the first five enrolled children, and I got to see her learn how to crawl, and then walk!  During this time, I got to spend time and know this family, and how much they care for their daughter, their community, family and friends). Dev is an adorable boy who suffers from seizures and requires ongoing special care and medical services).

 

Shashank, Jane and Ada were members of our local community and love nature, food, family, friends and photography. During the first months of the COVID pandemic, they relocated to Berlin, Germany - away from family and friends. Dev came to complete this family in January of 2021.

 

The immediate and expected ongoing needs primarily help with childcare, meals and day-to-day expenses. Their family income is about to be cut by 70%, and while the medical care in Germany is excellent because they have not lived there for the required minimum of two years, they won’t qualify for the whole level of needed help. Please help in any way, with donations, sharing with family, friends, co-workers - and ask them to share too!
