I never thought I would be in a position where I’d need to ask for help like this, but the past months have turned my life upside down in ways I never could have prepared for.

Born, raised and living in Kingston Jamaica, I recently lost my job unexpectedly. Not long after, I received the devastating diagnosis of a rare form of cancer; Neuroendocrine Tumor. This diagnosis has been life-altering — affecting my health, my ability to work, and every aspect of my day-to-day life. What started as uncertainty quickly became a fight for my health and stability at the same time.

I am now facing:

•Ongoing medical appointments, treatments, and related expenses

•A sudden loss of income while undergoing cancer care

•Basic living costs such as rent, utilities, and groceries during treatment and recovery

My focus right now needs to be on treatment and healing, but the financial stress has added an enormous weight to an already overwhelming situation. This fundraiser is meant to help cover essential living and medical expenses while I navigate cancer treatment and work toward regaining stability.
