Hi! My name is Sasina, and my mom is Sharyl WhiteHawk. My mom is a helper, and her primary job is as a substance use counselor in St. Paul. She lives in Afton, so it's a fair distance.

Today, my mom's car broke down. This will negatively affect so many things! My mom is the caregiver for my Grandma, who has dementia, and has lots of doctor's appointments. A couple of my siblings, niece, nephew, and great-nephew all live there too. My mom's car is their only mode of transportation.

I know that my mom has had a lot of stress about her car, and it has needed maintenance for a while, but she hasn't had the time or funds to take it in. Now that it's broken down, she is at a loss.

On top of everything else, the Wisconsin Department of Revenue just cleared out her bank accounts, which includes all her bill money, but especially her mortgage payment. I've updated the goal amount to include help for this loss.

Sharyl didn't ask me to do this; she rarely asks for help, but I know there are a lot of people who love, appreciate, and depend on her. I thought it was possible that there are people who want to help. All proceeds will be given to Sharyl for car repairs and mortgagepayment. Miigwech! Thank you!
