Hi, my name is Sharron Wesley. As many may know, I've been going back and forth to doctors due to me having diabetes. I was 12 years old when I found out that I was a diabetic, and over the years, my numbers were always greater than 500. Well, in 2007, I had my first surgery; I had to loose one of my toes, the greater one. In 2008, I had to lose all of the toes on the left foot, same side for the greater toe. In 2011, I lost all toes on the right foot, all due to diabetic ulcers that wouldn't heal. Still, I was able to walk.
Well, in 2023, I was told that I had to go on dialysis because I had ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease). I'm currently doing dialysis three days a week (M.W.F). I'm active on the transplant list. If I am blessed with a living donor or a deceased donor kidney, I will need $2,000 for my caregiver and my room at the hotel close by the hospital for 2 weeks and food. We will have to stay there because we live too far, and I will have to stay close to the hospital for check-ups and follow-up appointments.
Anything that you can donate isn't too small and will be gladly appreciated.
Thank you, Sharron Wesley
