Support Sharre Quick During the Shutdown

Donation protected

My name is Liz, and I am organizing this fundraiser for my friend Sharre Quick, who has recently spoken publicly and in the news about what federal employees are going through during the government shutdown. Sharre is a federal employee who is currently required to report to work every day, but like many others affected by the shutdown, she is not receiving a paycheck. Despite working full time, she is currently trying to cover rent, groceries, gas, and basic living expenses with no income coming in until the shutdown ends and back pay is issued.

I created this fundraiser for Sharre because I see how hard she works and how stressful this situation has been. She has been speaking out and sharing what this shutdown is really like for federal workers, but at the end of the day, she is still a real person with real bills that still have to be paid. The funds from this GoFundMe will go directly toward her basic living expenses rent, food, gas to get to work, and essential bills until the government reopens and employees begin receiving pay again.

If you saw Sharre’s story in the news or online and wanted to support her during this difficult time, this is a direct way to help. If you are not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also help tremendously. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting Sharre during the government shutdown.

This fundraiser is being organized to help with personal living expenses during the government shutdown. This fundraiser is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing TSA, DHS, or the federal government in any way. All funds go directly toward personal living expenses.

Additional Fundraiser Information:
This fundraiser was organized by Liz Mendoza on behalf of Sharre Quick, who is the beneficiary of this fundraiser. All funds are deposited directly into Sharre Quick’s personal bank account and are used only for essential living expenses during the government shutdown, including rent, utilities, groceries, gas/transportation, and prescription medications. Liz Mendoza does not receive any of the funds and is only organizing and sharing the fundraiser on Sharre’s behalf.
