My mom, Sharon, was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer just last Thursday. We were hopeful that chemotherapy might give us more time, but her lung refilled with fluid and she was no longer a candidate for treatment. Since then, Sharon has declined rapidly and is no longer able to talk with us or say anything. This has been a heartbreaking and sudden change for our family, and we are still processing the reality of her illness.

As we prepare for what comes next, I am hoping to raise funds to help with the cost of cremation and a memorial service for Sharon. There are many expenses that won’t be covered by third parties, and we want to honor her memory in a way that reflects the love and care she gave to all of us.
