Hi, my name is Sharon Short.

I live in Mississippi. I'm the mother of Travis Pennington, who was murdered in Michigan City, Indiana, on the morning of August 15, 2024, by a jealous boyfriend. He and his girlfriend were both murdered. His trial is set for April 28, 2015. I don't have travel fees or hotel fees. He was 35 years of age and was taken from his children. At the time of his death, he was a single parent, having lost his wife earlier to a long illness. He believed he was starting his life over with a new relationship, not knowing the repercussions. So, I'm asking the public to assist me in being a representative for my son's life. He was a good person. I need to be there; he was the oldest, my firstborn.
