We are raising funds for our dear friend Sharon (Tierney) Russell. Sharon is one of the most kind-hearted, strong, and selfless people we know, and now it's our turn to be there for her.

Sharon sadly lost the love of her life, Bill, to kidney failure in August 2024. In turn, she lost their comprehensive medical coverage. During Bill's illness, Sharon also felt very unwell. She was suffering tremendously but put it down to emotional stress. Unfortunately, her symptoms got worse, and in February 2025, Sharon was diagnosed with Esophageal cancer.

This is a battle that Sharon never expected to face. The diagnosis has come with overwhelming challenges - physically, emotionally, and financially. Despite it all, Sharon continues to fight with incredible strength and courage.

Sharon is under the care of gastroenterologist Dr. John Imbesi at Mountainside Hospital in New Jersey. She is also under the care of oncologist Dr. Said Saleh at Clara Maass Medical Centre in New Jersey.

Sharon has paid out-of-pocket for an upper endoscopy, an esophageal stenting surgery, a CT scan, plus numerous doctor visits, specialist consultations, and emergency room visits. She now has to endure chemotherapy, radiation, and esophagectomy surgery.

As you can imagine, the cost of cancer treatment is immense, and the medical bills are piling up. Additionally, Sharon has had to take time off work, making it even harder to manage everyday expenses. Our goal is to ease this financial burden so Sharon can focus on what truly matters - fighting and healing.
