My name is Malachi Brown, and I am the nephew of Sharon "Mommy Shay" Haywood. On January 29th, she tragically passed away, while family members attempted to resuscitate her. The last time I was able to see her was for her birthday on January 15th, 2025, where she celebrated with my mother, her sister, on January 16th. She meant so much to us.

We planned for the wake and funeral to take place in her hometown of Springfield, Massachusetts (where she passed) on February 12th.
