Support Sharon 'Shy' Brown's NBA All Star Coverage

It's Katee Cook Forbis here on behalf of something cool we can do for our friend, Sharon "Shy" Brown! Sharon has not only been part of my "Grizz fam" for over a decade now, she's also a Memphis Grizzlies beat writer for The Memphis Flyer, hosts a podcast "Bleavin Grizzlies" on Bleav Network, and also hosts "The Shy Show." as well. She's been published in other notable publications such as The Athletic and has interviewed NBA players, coaches, as well as staff and their families. She is respected among those who know her, both in Memphis and in the social media sports world. A few weeks ago, I came across a video of Sharon humbly asking for financial sponsorships for the 2025 NBA ALL STAR WEEKEND. Not because she wanted to go as a fan, but because she wanted to go cover it. There was no one to cover the cost. Y'all, I don't know a lot, but I do know if Sharon Brown wants to go cover NBA All Star Weekend, Sharon Brown deserves to go cover NBA All Star Weekend. Lol. She has been through a lot and if anyone should get this moment, it's her. I thought she had a great idea, but I asked her if I could put it out on a larger scale and she has allowed me to do so. I told Sharon that I had no doubt that a lot of Grizz fans, Memphians, and NBA fans in general who probably LOVE to help send her to NBA All Star Weekend so she could continue this passion I've watched her pursue for years along with other full time jobs. Not to mention being a wife, mother, and even though it's hard to believe, a grandmother! lol. SO LET'S SEND SHY TO THE BAY, MEMPHIS! (Goal $ was set based on average cost when I (Katee) researched the average cost for one single person to attend NBA All Star Weekend in San Francisco. We may alter this if other types of donations/access or better information about pricing comes in. I, Katee want to be very clear — THIS IS NOT FOR ME. ONLY SHARON. (I am just a fan and I am not going. lol.)
