Support Sharon and Nitro's Final Journey

I am one of Nitros mom’s best friends and my dog and Nitro have been friends for 6+ years. We’ve spent countless days hiking, walking the neighborhood and doing “dog mom stuff” together with our pups. Watching Sharon and Nitro bond and grow together as a team over the years has been a beautiful thing to watch. Sharon is always the person giving even when she has nothing left for herself, and she’s always quick to help dogs and People in need. Sadly Sharon has been handed some devastating news in the last 48 hours. At only 6 years old Nitro has been suddenly diagnosed with end stage Dilated Cardiomyopathy. They went to a specialist for a second opinion but the outcome was the same, they believe it’s genetic and there isn’t much they can do to stop the progression. He is home, on medication and comfortable but Sharon was told he doesn’t have very long. She wants to make sure the time he has left is special. We are all so heartbroken by this news and pray that nitro has a lot of time left with his family and friends. It’s hard to know what to do or say when someone is going through something so devastating and you know nothing can make that better. We’d love to help Nitro’s mom lighten the financial burden of this nightmare if we can so that she can pay back existing medical bills as well as have some back up for future medical bills.

In addition, In light of Sharon’s wishes to make nitros time left special, we came up with the idea of gifting Nitro and his mom a photoshoot where they can capture their bond and love for each other as well as take their minds off the sadness and have some fun. The photoshoot will be a couple hundred dollars, so that she can have her choice of many many digital images to save and print in the future.
