Hello everyone,

My name is Aaliyah Campbell, and our family is raising money for my younger sister Sharisse. Sharisse has been diagnosed with breast cancer at 23 years old.

If you know Sharisse you are so lucky, if you don’t then you have been missing out. She is a comedian who can fill any room with laughter.

When she was first diagnosed, she described feeling as though everything she wanted for her future was out of reach. She has now changed her mindset and her diagnosis has made her want to live life more intentionally.

Sharisse was born and raised in Yakima, attending McKinley Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary, Franklin Middle School, and Davis High School. Due to the pandemic, she graduated online through the West Valley School District. After high school, she attended YVC, where she earned her Associate’s Degree. Today, she works at Davis High School as a one-on-one para, supporting a student.

Sharisse plans on continuing her work as a para as long as she remains physically able. However, she will undergo months of chemotherapy before getting surgery, which comes with overwhelming costs. This includes medical bills, travel expenses and living costs when she is unable to work.
