On April 2nd, our beloved Sharise was involved in a devastating car accident at the Summit that changed her life in an instant. The crash was so severe that emergency crews had to use the Jaws of Life to remove her from the vehicle. In the tragedy, one of her beloved dogs also passed away, adding even more heartbreak to an already traumatic day. Sharise suffered extensive and life-altering injuries, including a deep laceration to her right thigh, broken ribs, a collapsed lung, a compound wrist fracture, three fractures to her pelvis, and a torn diaphragm that required emergency surgery. While she was intubated, arterial damage caused mini strokes, leaving her with a brain injury that will take time, patience, and determination to heal from.

By the grace of God and her incredible strength, Sharise is now out of the hospital. But her journey is far from over. She faces a long and difficult road of recovery filled with physical therapy, medical appointments, and ongoing care. Because of her brain injury, she is unable to drive for the next year, creating even more challenges as she works to rebuild her life. We are asking for support to help ease the financial burden this accident has placed on Sharise and her family.
