Miss Shari needs your help!
For over 40 years, Miss Shari has been a guiding light—teaching, encouraging, and inspiring countless students with her love of music and unwavering support. Now, she needs our help.
In October, Shari suffered a level 4 brain bleed/stroke, launching her into a long and challenging recovery. After spending 29 days in the ICU, she has now been in skilled nursing and rehab for nearly 100 days. While we remain hopeful for a full recovery, her progress has been slower than anticipated due to complications that insurance does not fully cover, leaving many critical therapies and treatments unfunded.
In the midst of this challenge, her devoted sons—Taylor, Chandler, and Jackson—have stepped in to shoulder much of the burden. They are tirelessly caring for her, covering her personal and living expenses day by day, and relentlessly searching for the best treatment options available. However, even with their dedicated support, the rising costs of rehabilitation and specialized care are stretching their resources to the limit.
Adding to these hardships, Shari experienced a setback in January when a fall resulted in a broken hip. Following surgery at St. Francis, she is now at Baylor Rehab in Dallas, where she continues her intensive recovery while doctors monitor her brain and optic nerve healing. At this critical time, Shari requires full-time nursing care, and her mounting expenses are far beyond what her family can sustain alone.
Shari has always been the first to give—her talent, wisdom, generosity, and love have touched so many lives. Now, it’s our turn to give back. Every donation, big or small, will help cover her rehab, medical bills, and additional care costs, ensuring she has the support she needs to heal and eventually return to what she loves most—teaching and inspiring others.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, prayers, and love for this extraordinary woman. Let’s rally together to help Miss Shari on her road to recovery!
