Support Our Family in Gaza
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
In November 2024, our beloved brother Ra'fat al-Sharif tragically lost his life in northern Gaza. He was an accomplished engineer, a devoted husband, and a loving father to 4 children between the ages of 10-14. Ra'fat’s unwavering faith and hope continue to inspire us, even in his absence.

Ra'fat's children

The death of Ra'fat has left his wife and children vulnerable as they move from place to place constantly in search of safety and spend hours daily looking for food and water.
Earlier this year, we suffered another devastating loss. Our dear brother, Ramez, passed away from a heart attack amidst the ongoing crisis, leaving behind four daughters, the youngest 9 and the eldest 18.

Our family’s challenges go beyond these immediate tragedies. Our siblings Rana, Nadia, Haneen, Laila, Rami, Muhammad, and the children ages 2-20 — nearly 40 family members in total — are scattered across Gaza in Beit Lahiya, Beit Hanoon, Deir el Baleh and Khan Younis. They're surviving in makeshift tents in the cold with little to eat or drink.

Tent life
Here in Canada, it has been heartbreaking witnessing our family's suffering. We have been doing everything we can from outside Gaza to provide food, shelter, and medical care, but the needs of the family are overwhelming and the cost of basic items is increasing by the day.
We are asking for your help to continue supporting our family. Many of you have already expressed interest in joining this effort, and we are grateful for your compassion and love. Now, we’re opening this opportunity to ensure their survival as the war continues. The funds collected will be spent to provide basic necessities, i.e. food, water, shelter, medical care and clothing.
How You Can Help
Give Today: Your support will help our family survive. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a tangible difference in their lives.
Share the Campaign: Help us spread the word so others might consider supporting our family too.
Join the Effort: Consider a recurring donation to sustain this critical aid.
Let’s honor Ra'fat’s memory by standing with his grieving loved ones and showing them they are not alone. Together, we can provide hope and relief to a family enduring unimaginable hardships.
May you be blessed for your kindness and compassion, and may this act of generosity bring peace and comfort to our family.
With gratitude,
