On April 24th, our beloved sister Shariece went to the hospital in severe pain—something none of us expected would turn into life-altering news. After several tests, doctors discovered a mass on her cervix. Their concern was immediate, and they performed a biopsy to determine whether it could be cancer.

Today, April 30th, we received the heartbreaking confirmation: the mass is cancerous. Shariece has been diagnosed with cervical cancer.

This news has taken all of us by complete surprise. At just 30 years old, Shariece is not only a sister, daughter, and friend—she’s a mother to five beautiful children who rely on her strength and love.

Now, Shariece is facing an intense journey of treatment, which will include chemotherapy, radiation, and potentially surgeries. As you can imagine, this will place a tremendous emotional and financial burden on her and our family.
