Surgeons Helping Surgeons: Empowering Reconstructive Surgery in Africa!
Imagine a world where skilled surgeons transform not just individual lives, but entire communities. The Plastic Surgery Foundation's Surgeons in Humanitarian Alliance for Reconstruction, Research and Education (SHARE) program is a pioneering 2-year surgical education program is empowering the next generation of reconstructive surgeons in sub-Saharan Africa. This unique model blends virtual learning with hands-on training, creating a scalable solution that extends life-saving surgical care to the most underserved regions.
To date, 33 fellows have graduated, bringing their expertise back to their home countries where they will continue to teach, heal, and expand this life-changing program. But the work is far from over! We need your help to support the next cohort of surgeons. Your donation will provide critical resources such as surgical instruments, essential educational materials, and specialized surgical magnifying glasses (loupes), enabling these surgeons to perform life-altering procedures and share their knowledge with others.
Together, we can ensure this program grows and thrives, providing access to transformative care across sub-Saharan Africa. Your support today helps continue the cycle of education, healing, and empowerment, making a lasting impact on the health and well-being of entire communities.
Will you join us in this vital mission?
All donations will go to the Plastic Surgery Foundation in support of the SHARE program.
