Shantrease is raising funds for her husband as their family faces an incredibly difficult season. He is living with stage 4 congestive heart failure and is in need of a heart transplant. On top of the emotional weight of this diagnosis, he is currently out of work, making it even harder to keep up with everyday responsibilities. Each week, he must travel to Emory Hospital in Atlanta for appointments, a trip that is about four hours away. The constant travel, medical care, and loss of income have placed a heavy burden on their household.

This fundraiser will help ease some of that burden by helping with bills and travel expenses while he continues this fight and prepares for what lies ahead.
