Support Shanti and Mason in Their Time of Need

With great sadness and disbelief that we announce the sudden and very unexpected passing of Mark Hodges.

Mark loved his family and being in nature infinitely.

Mark was a devoted and hard working father, taking Mason on countless adventures, and looking forward to a future of hikes, climbs, kayaking adventure travels. He should be here to teach Mason to drive and tie his tie for prom and graduation. They really deserved more time together.

Mason’s mom Shanti now faces the overwhelming job of being the sole caretaker and breadwinner. Working full-time and raising a child on a single paycheck is a superhuman feat, and doing that during a time of grieving while carving out a completely new way of life feels nearly impossible.

The trauma and grief Shanti is feeling while trying to stay strong for her boy is hard to comprehend. They are both devastated and dealing with so much heartache, the financial stress is one burden we’d like to help lift if we can.

Shanti and Mason are in need of any and all support we can give during this time to help with their overwhelming current expenses while they try to work out the intricate details of day to day life without Mark. We will let you know when we have a date in place to honor Mark's life.
