Support Shantel's Fight Against Cancer

My big sister Shantel was just diagnosed with cancer!

It’s been shocking and hard to process.

She has a big challenge ahead of her, and as everyone knows, medical care is extremely expensive. She has been so worried about how to pay for things, especially since she has a lapse in insurance right as this has been going on.

She's trying to do this without insurance and I can’t even imagine.

All the costs are already piling up, CT scans, imaging, ultrasounds, bloodwork, labs, procedures, appointments now chemo, radiation and brachytherapy. She already had medical bills piling up from everything prior.

I want her to be able to heal her body and have less financial worries so she can do so.

I love my sister so much and want her to stay here for her sweet family. I’ve already lost another sister to cancer and never want to lose another.

I want her to have as much help as possible.

She’s always been such a fighter! I’ve seen her overcome so many incredibly difficult trials. I do not doubt in my mind she will heal herself and get through this!

That being said, the next year is going to be especially difficult and scary as her tumor is not operable. the tumor has grown outside of her uterus and cervix into outer tissue and around the main artery in her hip which is giving the cancer a major blood source to grow quickly. They still need to determine through more imaging and testing if it is in her legs as well. She could use your prayers and any support possible.
