Just a few days before Christmas, my mom, Shanon Sylvester, was diagnosed with stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma of the gallbladder. Since then, she has been unable to go back to work, and costs are starting to add up. She hates asking for help yet would always be the one extending a helping hand when others were in need. She has a long road of treatments ahead. She is unable to go upstairs at this point, and therefore, they need to have a shower installed on the main floor, which can be costly.
