I am Leslee, Shannon’s sister, and as a family we have chosen to start this fundraiser to support her and her children through this difficult time. Unbeknownst to Shannon, she has been living with chronic hepatitis, also known as metabolic dysfunction-associated liver disease (previously known as NAFLD). This is something she will always have to manage, but we know she has the fortitude to persevere with the loving presence of her family and friends. Due to her current health condition, being unable to work since summer, her recent prolonged hospitalization, and her now facing a recovery time, she needs our help.

If you have ever crossed paths with Shannon, then you know she has the heart of a servant. She is always the first to jump up and be in service to others, whether making meals, giving food to the unhoused community when she had her restaurant, donating to those in need in a myriad of ways, volunteering at numerous events around town, you name it and she has always been one to step up. Now, it is time for us to do the same for her.
