Hi, I'm Shannon. I'm 55 years old and I am struggling with an enormous amount of health issues and have been unable to work for approximately 4 years. I had my first stroke in August 2020.

I have been trying for disability, which is clearly taking forever.

I have no income for doctor's visits, transportation, and my many medical supplies, as well as day-to-day living.

My sister is no longer helping me with anything. She said I am on my own and she is done. At this very moment, I am without test strips for my diabetes, so I am guessing how much insulin I need. This is quite literally playing Russian Roulette.

I have put off asking anyone for help, but I have no other options.

I'm just so grateful I have a strong faith in Jesus that I am where I'm supposed to be. I just haven't figured out what I am to learn from this yet, but it will come.
