I lost my job during the freeze a month or so back, and haven't been able to find work since. 20 applications a day and no calls. The man we live with is... Unwell. He screams, he hits things, he breaks things. While he's not yet hit me or my daughter, I worry it's only a matter of time, whether by accident or not, and that's not a risk I'm willing to take. I've thought about leaving to a shelter but they're just as scary to a little girl. Her father is out of the picture for other trauma related reasons (he's doing 41 years in jail) and my family can't do anything for me. My father has bladder cancer, my mom is going through liver failure, my grandmother is a cultist, the list goes on. I desperately want to save us from this situation. To get far, far away and start over. Just us. Anything you can give would be extremely helpful. The funds will be used for moving expenses, food, and rent until we can find something more permanent. I lived through this twice, I can't do it again.
