Support Shannon's Fight for Health and Life

Hi my name is Monica and my husband's name is Shannon. Shannonn is 75 years old and has been going through many health issues for the past year, recently he has gotten worse. He has been in and out of the hospital repeatedly now for several months. The problems started 3 years ago, he was doing PT but after 70 sections his blood pressure and energy had declined instead of improving. The most recent evaluation from the doctors is that he has (Hyponatremia) low sodium which causes him to be confused, unresponsive and weakness. Because of the muscle spasms, weakness and knee replacements he is unable to walk on his own or be left alone. So far the doctors have been unable to explain why this is happening to him. Obviously Shannon is unable to work, he can’t even carry on a conversation or remember to take his medication. The other day he could not find the bathroom. I lost my job trying to be home to take care of him. I got a new job but had to quit before I started because I could not get reasonable outside help to take care of him. Home careis not the solution he needs to go to Assisted Living. I have gone through all our reserves and my 401K. Now my credit card is maxed out, I was using this for all our expenses, We have always been hard workers and ask for nothing free. It breaks my heart to see my husband like this but it breaks me more to have to ask for your financial help. I don’t know what else to do although some friends had been very helpul others are mis understanding the go, if could spare $20.00 that would be welcome. You don't need to cover for all but a little bit of everyone would help until I land a local job and can be there for him again.
