It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved friend, Shannon Goolsby, on Saturday, May 11. He was a member and current pastor of the Faith Church of God in Carrier Mills. He loved God and his family with all that was in him. He was also a cherished member of the Frito Lay team, known for his unwavering dedication, kindness, and positive spirit. For 16 years he led and supported so many individuals that came through the doors of Frito.
Shannon left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. His sudden departure has left a void that words cannot fill, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In this difficult time, we want to come together as a community to support his family. Shannon's wife, Rhonda and daughters Haley (Dalton) and Hannah are needing us now to rally around them and support them the way we all know they would be supporting us in a time as this.
We have created this GoFundMe to assist Shannon’s family with the unexpected expenses that come with such a tragic loss. The funds raised will go towards:
- Funeral and Memorial Services: Helping to cover the costs associated with giving Shannon the respectful and loving farewell he deserves.
- Immediate Living Expenses: Providing financial support to his family as they navigate this challenging period.
- Future Support: Assisting with any other unforeseen expenses that may arise during this time of mourning.
Shannon was more than just a colleague; he was a true friend, a mentor, and a source of inspiration. His legacy of compassion and generosity will live on in our hearts.
