On June 20th, Shannon discovered a lump in her neck. After several labs, scans and a biopsy she was diagnosed with Stage 4B Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Fortunately, her prognosis for treatment and recovery is positive, but will include the long, challenging road of a minimum of six months/six cycles of chemotherapy.
Although, Shannon and Eric are working to meet this challenge with positivity and determination, they could really use our help. Shannon is self-employed and has already experienced a significant reduction in income. In addition to loss of income, Eric and Shannon will face the financial hardship of cancer treatment.
Shannon and Eric give so freely to the community, whether it be through their work at the Montana Bicycle Guild, the Montana Enduro Series, participating on the Ales for Trails committee, or donating time to teach at Girl's Thrive. Please consider donating to help support Shannon and Eric through this unexpected and worrisome time.
