Hello friends & family,

 

Our mom, Shannon (Taft) Hallock was diagnosed on January 15 with stage 2 breast cancer- invasive ductal carcinoma confirmed to have spread to at least one lymph node (under her arm). She's scheduled for a lumpectomy and removal of affected lymph node(s) on March 3 and will begin treatment at Avera's comprehensive breast care center with radiation starting the week after surgery.

 

As so many families affected by cancer have experienced, our mom will be facing the financial strain associated with medical care, time off work and travel expenses to and from treatment in Sioux Falls.
