Hello, my friend Kim Lipes and I are raising money for Shannon Loessberg, a very dear friend and co-worker of ours, who was recently diagnosed with adenocarcinoma. This is an aggressive, cancerous tumor in her sinus passages. She will need to travel to Salt Lake City to have surgery and time to recover postoperatively. She will also need to undergo radiation treatments shortly after her surgery. During this time, Shannon and her family are facing unexpected financial burdens, including the additional expense of medical bills, loss of work, travel, and stays in Salt Lake City. We have created this GoFundMe to help Shannon and her family through this process, and to help ease the financial burdens this type of medical diagnosis can bring.
