Support Shannon Lee Nephew's Final Journey
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Jesse Lookingglass. My mother Shannon Lee Nephew, Lakota name Anpe Wi Waste Win, has made her journey to the spirit world on July 20th, 2024. She was diagnosed with breast cancer several years ago. Going through chemotherapy and radiation, she was able to beat cancer. However, during the radiation, she was left with scarring of her lungs, which then was diagnosed as hyper pulmonary tension. Over several years, she was able to continue and fight her illness day in and day out. Her strength through this and to continue to live was a testament to her true character. Her unexpected passing was a shock to us all.
The most sincere and kindest person any of us has ever met, Shannon will be incredibly missed. During this time, I am reaching out to anyone who can contribute and would like to donate. Shannon will have her service here in Virginia, then will be transferred out to South Dakota to be buried. Any contribution will go directly to help alleviate any financial burden me and my siblings will have to go through during these incredibly excruciating times. Shannon's Obituary will have the time and place for her services in Virginia. As we continue to finalize the details for her burial in South Dakota, we will update accordingly. To anyone who knew my mom, I want to personally thank you for being a part of her life, no matter how small the interaction. It has left a deep impact on me and her family.
(PS. please feel more then welcome to leave a comment of a memory you remember her by.)
Sincerely,
Jesse Lookingglass.
