Hello, My name is Shannon Huling and as some of you may know I am currently pursuing my Masters of Science in Nursing. I’ve been in nursing school for just over a year now and am currently completing semester 4 of 6 this summer. To date, I’ve paid $22,536.29 out of pocket—not including this semester’s tuition. I work two jobs, attend school full-time in Ohio, and commute an average of four days a week—120 miles round trip. I’m a proud mother of two amazing children and am blessed with an incredible support system. Despite the challenges, I have no complaints—this is the path I chose, and I’m embracing every part of the journey, stress and all.

As someone who deeply believes in the power of prayer and hard work, asking for help has never come easy to me. However, the financial strain has depleted my savings and put my ability to continue in the program at serious risk. I currently have a 3.8 GPA, currently progressing through the program outstandingly. I now need a little assistance to get to the finish line.
