Support Shannon Fight Cancer
Donation protected
Hi there, I'm Colleen. Shannon Falkinburg’s "baby" sister.
Shannon was diagnosed with breast cancer about 11 years ago. In December 2022, she discovered that the cancer returned and is now stage 4 triple negative breast cancer - one of the most aggressive forms. There is no cure for this stage and type of breast cancer. It has spread to the lining of her lungs, sternum, and ribs, as well as several lymph nodes throughout her body.
To put it bluntly, Shannon is in a fight for her life.
In addition, her husband Brian was laid off from his job. Unfortunately, for the new position he accepted, he needs to pass exams before any income.
Anyone that knows Shannon knows how positive, happy, resilient, God-fearing, kind, and giving she is (not to mention, she loves her kids more than ANYTHING in this world). She is a fighter and would love some help while she is going through this battle for her life.
THE WHY: The medical bills are piling up. Chemo, infusions, etc. are extremely expensive, as are the alternative treatments and supplements she is taking (all out-of-pocket costs) that can work synergistically with the chemo. She is trying her best to do all that she can to beat this!!
I don't want her to be stressed about paying their mounting medical bills, but rather focused on beating this! Please help this family through some of the hardest days of their lives, and please continue to keep them in your prayers. They need our love and support now more than ever! THANK YOU!
*A note from Shannon below:
I am doing everything I can to ensure I will be here for my family, who I adore! Though I know that ultimately, I am not in control. But I know Who is, and I know that He is Good! I trust in God and in His perfect plan. I will do my part, and lean on Him every step of the way. He has already helped me so much through so many of you.
Thank you for your prayers and your support!! It encourages me on the hard days and helps me praise God even more on the good days. I pray that each of you is blessed, as you have blessed us. I pray that God will use this difficult time for good, and I believe He is. What an honor it is to partner with Him in this!
