Hello friends and family,

Our beloved friend, Shannon Clark, recently had a bad fall on the stairs at her home. In her heroic tumble, she managed to protect her youngest, Ollie (2), who she was carrying, but unfortunately, she sustained a traumatic injury to her leg that required surgery and a long healing process ahead.

With two energetic young boys, Noah (5) and Ollie (2), and a 2-story home she cannot access, life will look very different for the Clarks over the next 6 months. Shannon’s injury means she is confined to a medical chair for 8 weeks (no weight on her leg at all), and then extensive rehabilitation over the following months.

Shannon risks reinjury if she attempts to do her usual mom caregiving, so additional support is needed ASAP once family is no longer able to live in with them after the holidays.

While she’s already had amazing friends build her a wheelchair ramp (we see you, Christine) and who will be happy to take the boys for outings, we recognize the Clarks will be facing consistent, ongoing costs that they weren’t expecting, including a need for:
