Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

We are reaching out during an incredibly painful and uncertain time. Our hearts are breaking as our dear friends, Shanna and Vinnie, face every parent's worst nightmare. On October 17th, Shanna and Vinnie were rushed to Doctor's Medical Center in Modesto for an emergency C-section 5 weeks before baby Ayla Eva-Lea was expected to arrive.

Unfortunately, Ayla's status is critical, and she is on life support at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford.

Baby Ayla, Shanna, Vinnie, their families, and the medical staff at Stanford desperately need your prayers and they also require real resources. Medical expenses, food, transportation, and bills while staying local to be close to Ayla. Shanna and Vinnie's recovery and resilience is truly a testament to faith in a loving Higher Power. All prayers and positive thoughts are welcome and if you are able to donate, every dollar helps. All funds will go directly to Shanna and Vinnie during these unimaginable circumstances so they can focus directly on baby Ayla in Palo Alto.
