I'm raising funds for my sister, Shanna Saunders, and her husband, Chalk Saunders, after their home was destroyed in a flood yesterday in Arizona. The water came up quickly and unexpectedly, and they were not able to get home in time to save anything. Floodwater broke through their patio door, and the river current rushed into the house and washed many of their belongings away.

They lost everything, including one of their cats. Today they are beginning the cleanup process, while they try to process all that has happened. It’s very overwhelming.

Right now, donations will help them with the immediate basics they need to begin cleaning up and trying to save what they can, including cleaning supplies, shovels, gloves, masks, a refrigerator, a freezer, a washer, and a dryer. Their insurance does not cover any of their personal items or appliances.
