Support Shane's Life-Saving Heart Surgery

Hello, my name is Shane. I have a long history of heart and lung disease which started at birth. So far, I’ve had four open-heart surgeries and 12 cardiac catheterizations at Boston Children’s Hospital. After having chest pain for three days, mom drove me to the emergency room and found out I need a new pulmonic valve and possibly new stents in my lungs. It has been a long, very exhausting life to live when you constantly have to go through life-and-death situations. My mom is my rock. She has always, since birth, been very supportive, loving, kind, and has always taken care of things for me. This time, I would like to help her take care of things, but being on disability, they don’t allow you much money every month. This is why I am putting together the GoFundMe account to help raise money to take some of the burden off of my mother.

My heart surgery In Boston was successful!!!! Thank God and everyone at Boston Hospital who is so king, caring, loving and helpful!

Now the healing process can begin. Now that the bills are rolling in mom will be making payments for this trip, surgery, hotel, flights, etc…So anyone who has already donated we say thank you and thank God!

Any extra help that anyone can give now that the bills are rolling in from the trip, ie: air fare, hotel stay, medicine, copays and everything to live, rent, electricity, water, food, insurance, etc… we need to catch up on all living expenses Thank you so much for letting me share my story and for taking the time to read it.
