Support Shanel's Fight Against Breast Cancer

As I sit down to write this post, I find myself overwhelmed with emotions. First let me begin by saying thank you Shanel. I’m filled with gratitude for having you in my life. Through the highs and lows, twists and turns, you and I have been through so much in the last 12 years. We’ve experienced loss together, we’ve stood by each other through all the hardship and changes that life threw at us and we’ve overcome so many obstacles and made it to 12 years baby!! While facing life challenges you’ve always mange to put others before yourself, you’ve always believe in supporting black entrepreneurs, you’ve always been an advocate in giving young stylist an opportunity to learn and grow their brand by allowing them the space and platform to get that exposure. While being the boss Lady you are, you are still human and tend to forget to put yourself first. In all these years you’ve been so focus on helping everyone else get to their potential that in the process we’ve neglected to prioritize your health and unfortunately we were not prepared for unfortunate news that we received in March.

With that being said as many of you already know, managing a business comes with many responsibilities such as salon rent, inventory, payroll, and utilities in salon. In order for Jakari j salon to continue to stand successfully during Shanel’s recovery, I ask to please support my friend, my mentor, my Sister while she undergoes treatment for her breast cancer. Let us help relieve any financial stress during this time of recovery. Thank you for your continued support, love and prayers during this time.
